Smartphone liquid glass sealing
Pretty much everyone owns a smartphone these days. Unfortunately, these little wonder machines are very delicate. With daily use, traces of use such as scratches or fingerprints appear that stubbornly remain on the display. The following video addresses this problem and shows how you can prevent these signs of use.
Instructions – Simply seal the smartphone display
- Right at the beginning of the video, you can see that everything you need to seal your mobile phone has been put together in a practical set. This includes:
- Glove to avoid fingerprints
- An ethanol-soaked cleaning cloth
- Polishing cloth
- A liquid glass cloth for sealing
During use, the smartphone is only held by the hand on which the glove is attached to avoid new fingerprints – these are thicker than the liquid glass coating and would prevent the correct sealing.
After the pre-cleaning, the display is rubbed dry and in this way any residues of prints or grease are removed. Only one side of the microfiber cloth should be used here – the other side will be needed later to polish the seal. In the next step, the cloth soaked in liquid glass is unpacked and – as with pre-cleaning – the entire smartphone is rubbed with it. It can be sealed all around with liquid glass. The backs of cell phones are often made of glass today.
After at least The surface of the smartphone is polished for 30 minutes – the sealing is done. In the video you can see the advice that it is advantageous to let the liquid glass harden overnight – follow this recommendation, because the more resistant the protective layer is afterwards. It is recommended to reapply the sealant at regular intervals to maintain the protection.
