Oxidation and corrosion resistance
Bare metal oxidizes over time, as do painted surfaces. V24 Permanent Protector 640 protects the paint and the metal from contact with water and air and is therefore corrosion protection.
High resistance to chemicals
The ceramic sealant is almost 100% resistant to most chemicals/solvents in use.

V24 Permanent Protector 640 Application procedure
- The product can be applied by spraying or wiping.
- We recommend the use of an airless spraying system for spray application. Application by wiping should be carried out with an application/microfiber cloth.
- Always carry out a test application on a test area before applying to the surface. This also allows the yield on the respective substrate to be determined.
- Pre-cleaning: The surfaces must be dry, clean and free of any residues (waxes, silicones, pre-coatings, grease, etc.).
- Application: Apply V24 Permanent Protector until a thin layer is visible
- Drying time: The surface is dry and ready for use after 2-5 hours (depending on weather conditions)
- Curing time: 5-7 days at 20°C, 1 day at 60°C (surface usable after 2 hours), 2 hours at 200°C
- Caution: This is a high-tech product that only provides the desired result when used properly.

Functionality
Our ceramic sealant V24 Permanent Protector 640 reacts with the surface of the material and forms an abrasion-resistant covalent (permanent) coating with very strong adhesive properties.
An ultra-thin, transparent coating with high impact resistance is formed. V24 Permanent Protector 640 is extremely resistant to alkalis, corrosion, seawater and abrasion.

Permanent Protector 640
- must not come into contact with moisture.
- Storage temperature of the material: < 20°C.
Permanent Protector 640 has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in the original sealed containers.
A longer storage period does not necessarily mean that the product is unusable, however, in terms of quality assurance, the properties desired for the intended use should be checked.
FAQ
The high-performance 9H ceramic sealant is a glass coating based on silanes. It is so thin and invisible to the naked eye that it has no effect on the appearance or surface texture. High-performance 9H ceramic sealant is not a paint, wax or sealant and cannot peel or wash off.
The ceramic sealant forms a permanent (“covalent”) bond with the surface and can only be removed by grinding. Chemicals cannot dissolve the ceramic sealant. However, it is preserved permanently only with proper care. The service life depends on the influences to which the surface is exposed.
To describe the hardness of a coating, we use the well-known “pencil hardness”. The measuring range is between 6B (softest) and 9H (hardest). The V24 Permanent Protector 640 achieves a hardness level of 8H (drying at room temperature) to 9H (heat drying).
